On Thursday and Friday At Spring Creek Park, Bridgeland hosted 2 days of meets with 7 different divisions . On Thursday they fielded teams in both the JV A & B divisions and then followed up on Friday with teams in Varsity A and B. In all, 12 different runners got a chance to compete in their first high school race over the 2 days.
Varsity A
Moving up a spot to #5 in the CCCAT coaches poll, the Varsity Lady Bears had another successful week winning the meet over #9 Tompkins. Emily Ellis earned her first individual win in a time of 11:21 over the 3200-meter course. Additional medalists for the ladies were Elisa Grillo (5th), Cassidy Graham (7th), and Maddie Wilson (10th).
Varsity B
The team competed well, placing 2nd to the top 7 runners from Cy-Woods. The team was led by Sydney McFarland (3rd) and followed by other top 10 finishers Caitlin Hoyt (5th), Ashley Cantu (9th) and Ariel Braley (10th).
JV A
Another good victory against a strong Tompkins squad. Macie Gunn got out from the start and carried that momentum to a 2nd a second place finish. Other medalists were Morgan Watson (4th), Arianna Elder (5th), and Peyton Smith (9th). Morgan Watson,

We placed 3rd overall as a team. Bella Vickers led the team with a 9th place finish.
This week the Bears will be competing at home as we host the Bridgeland Tri meet at our own track racing a track 5K.
